Rooftop Cinema Club NYC 2025 lineup
June
- Pride Month (all month): Films this month will spotlight iconic LGBTQ+ stories, queer joy, and the people who make our spaces vibrant, bold, and beautifully themselves. A few highlights include Love Lies Bleeding, Queer, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Keep an eye out for an LGBTQ+ Singles Night on June 12.
- Drag Me to the Movies (June 29): Celebrate The Birdcage the only way that makes sense: with a rooftop drag performance with more drama than a dinner with the Keeleys and more sparkle than Agador’s thong drawer.

July
- July Fourth at Rooftop Cinema Club (July 4): Sunset views, summer air, and a curated lineup perfect for July Fourth Weekend.
- Slow Summer (July 7-20): If Nancy Meyers made a summer rooftop, this would be it. Think chilled Chardonnay, salt-air romance, soft laughs, and the kind of movies that pair perfectly with a chunky knit sweater even in July.
- The O.C. Mini Marathon (July 15): Cue the music... Seth is spiraling. Marissa is a walking red flag. Sandy is doing his best. See three of the messiest, most iconic episodes of The O.C. so you can feel everything and regret nothing.
- Witch, please (July 21-31): Look for cult horror, witchy energy, and enough dark vibes to carry you right through Leo season.
- Supernatural Mini Marathon (July 22): The Winchesters are taking over the rooftop with a Supernatural Mini Marathon.
- Singalong: GREASE (July 26): Come for "Greased Lightning," stay for the group therapy that is "Hopelessly Devoted."
- A Night of Practical Magic (July 27): This is for the ones who carry salt in their pockets, believe in gut feelings, and know that sisterhood is its own kind of spell. Think tarot card readings, crystals, and the wild, witchy energy only Practical Magic can conjure.
- Muffins & Mimosas (Sundays in July): Muffins & Mimosas at Rooftop makes a soft start to the week. Enjoy a movie, a muffin, and a well-deserved mimosa.
- Wine Wednesdays: Grab a friend, meet a date, or come solo to wind down with a movie under the stars and enjoy a glass of house wine.

Time Out Tips for experiencing Rooftop Cinema Club
The cinema is perched above midtown's streets on the Skylawn rooftop of the Embassy Suites Hotel on West 37th Street where the skyline serves as an incredible backdrop. Don't worry about background noise, though: You'll get your own set of over-ear headphones that block out street noise, and you can adjust the volume as needed.
As for seating, you'll get to choose a standard high-back lounge chair or a premium lounge chair that comes with extra cushions. You'll book your ticket type, then get to pick your exact seat on-site, first-come, first-served. Ticket prices range from $23-$29/person depending on your seating preference and movie time.
Keep in mind that you'll be out in the elements, not in an air-conditioned theater. If you're going to a daytime screening, wear some sunscreen; if you're going in the evening, bring a jacket.
